Today we are going to talk about flies.
If you’re planning an outdoor wedding or even if you’re planning a midsummer wedding indoors or in a church, remember that flies love people and they love the hot weather. And when there’s a lot of people there’s a lot of flies.
Flies also love fragrance and there are a lot of perfumes and aftershaves at a wedding.
Flies will sit all over the back of your wedding dress without you knowing and all over the groom’s and the groomsmen’s suits.
You don’t want to spend time during your ceremony flicking away flies from your face and it doesn’t make for good photos or video.
Make sure you have some non-fragrant insect repellent with you and buy a few bottles for your guests to use, particularly for beach weddings.
Spray it liberally on the back of the boy’s suits and all around your dress and veil and it will also stop bugs from crawling around your dress.
